We began our adventure upstairs in the Death House. With Mara possessed and the ghost of Thorn following, the adventurers went down to search the second level. Upon searching the library, Thellari discovered a door to a secret room. She found a chest with a skeleton in it. In the hand of the skeleton was a note. dh_handout

Searching on floor one proved futile and the party went back to the attic to go down into the dungeon.  They discovered some cult quarters which Harex’s unseen servant searched through and found some reasonably valuable items. They continued on and found the crypts for the family. They put Torn and Rose’s bodies to rest and they disappeared with their spirits at peace. Maxillos searched Mrs. Durst’s crypt and was attached by a swarm of caterpillars.

The party continued on and Harex’s unseen servant detected some ghouls in the next hall. The party prepped for the attack and bottlenecked them to fight one at a time. Successful, the party pulled back to the crypts to take a long rest.
